Kensington Woods Schools is a small, creative school that develops academic success through an innovative and personal educational experience for grades 6-12. Kensington Woods is a tuition-free public charter school located in the Pinckney area. We serve students all over Livingston, Oakland and Washtenaw counties. Kensington Woods Schools’ mission is to prepare each student for success in college, career and life through an engaging, challenging and innovative educational program that is student-centered and promotes character and values.

We create an engaging, challenging and relevant learning environment for students through a focus on subject-area integration, 21st century skills like creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking and high expectations as well as building strong relationships between students and teachers. Students graduate academically prepared for college and are well-rounded engaged citizens with strong character. 100% of our graduates are accepted into college. Our students understand the importance of learning as a lifelong process and are ready to excel in college and life.
