Who We Are
Mission: To locate, recover, restore, and rebuild vintage World War II aircraft back to their original glory.
The Warbirds of Glory Museum is an Aviation Restoration and History Museum in Brighton, Michigan. We are restoring B-25 Sandbar Mitchell Bomber to flying condition while mentoring youth in workshop skills. We are a volunteer run organization and an IRS approved 501c3 charity
What We Do
Warbirds of Glory Museum provides a place for youth to work side by side with mentors gaining hands-on workshop experience in aviation restoration. Youth spend time with veterans, learning about their experience in service to our country. Youth learn teamwork, shop skills and CAD skills while restoring B-25 Bomber, Sandbar Mitchell to Flying Condition. Youth are given opportunities to attend airshows, WWII reunions, Aviation Conventions and sometimes even get a ride in a warbird. We teach youth to remember the past while learning skills to be leaders of the future.
