Make-A-Wish Michigan

Mission: To create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Make-A-Wish Michigan is governed by a volunteer board of directors, with a dedicated professional staff and hundreds of volunteers committed to making a positive difference in the lives of families who are battling life-threatening medical conditions. It is a chapter of the national organization Make-A-Wish America. The national organization was founded in Phoenix in 1980 after 7-year-old Christopher realized his dream to become an honorary police officer, complete with his very own uniform and badge.

Make-A-Wish Michigan grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
